Day 1:

Land in Santo Domingo, DR

Enjoy endless fields of green and palm trees gently swaying as you make your way from the airport to Samana. The ride takes about two and a half hours. The taxis are air-conditioned and many of them have a Wifi hotspot, so you can let your loved ones know that you’ve arrived safely.

Arrive at The Treehouse Village.

Let the adventure begin! You'll leave the taxi at our parking lot and head inside, following a narrow jungle path surrounded by pink flowers. This will be the first taste of luscious nature you get here. Our team will help you with your luggage.

Enjoy a beautiful and energizing bike ride on your way to El Valle Beach. This is the best way to see the area and get a glimpse of locals’ daily lives. You’ll walk out of the hotel entrance and over the bridge, and choose your bike. Bikes are free. The ride to the beach takes about 10 minutes on the straight road. There’s no way you get lost.

Dinner and a mellow Yin Yoga Nightcap to settle down the traveling nerves and prepare for an amazing nights sleep in the jungle.

Day 2-3:

We will stay onsite and have full days of learning!  This will include vinyasa practice, alignment workshops, asana labs where we breakdown the anatomy, modifications, and hands-on adjustments for our foundational postures.  

We will break for meals and a little free time to relax by the pool, read in your room, or bike to the beach.

Day 4: 

Excursion Day!

We will set out on horseback to the Limon Waterfall, located deep within a tropical forest on the Samana Peninsula. Each guest will have a guide for the trip to help with horses and whatever else you'll need. You are the V.I.P! 

After the horse ride, you will find yourself at the foot of the spectacular 55-meter waterfall where you can swim, lounge, take photos, watch the locals leap off of the cliffs, or even jump yourself! 

After enjoying the crystal clear waters of Limon, we will get treated to an excellent Dominican home-style meal. Then we head to remote beaches in the Limon area, these are some of the most beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas. Here you will feel as though you have stepped onto the set of a movie. You can relax, play in the waves or try your hand at surfing or bodyboarding.

We will arrive back at the village for dinner and a winddown yoga practice.

Day 5: 

We will stay onsite and have a full day of learning!  We will learn how to apply all the new skills we learned to bring back home for your personal practice and your students.  Think breakout sessions, partner work, and fun group projects!

Day 6:

Our last morning yoga class and breakfast before we head back to the mainland.  We will depart the Treehouse Village at 10am.
